I have a Uniden SDS100. I have both the Butel ARC536Pro and ProScan. It seems like the ARC536Pro logs a "hit" as soon the squelch breaks. ProScan, on the other hand, seems to only log a hit if the signal is present for a bit longer. I have absolutely NO evidence to confirm this, but I am interested in hearing the experiences from others that have used both the Butel ARC536Pro and ProScan.

You can disable logging of transmissions less than 2 seconds in Proscan. You probably have that setting turned on.

Is that the one under the:

Options → Logging

Delete < 2 Seconds History Log Entries From Grid?

If so, it wasn't enabled, but it is now.

Thank you for the reply and bringing that to my attention.

In ProScan, The Hits will increment instantly when the Squelch breaks as long as the option "Wait For Tones..." is unchecked. Option located in the Options - Logging - History Grid section.
