BCD325P2 trying to download programing get msg ports are used by other programs.. have three ports. what do I do?

Ports on a window's computer? Are they serial ports or USB ports? What kind of programming cable are you using? I am not familiar with the bcd325P2 specifically but I know you have to have the scanner plugged into the computer and turned on before the computer will see it.

Have you downloaded & installed the serial port driver. so that the USB cable can connect?

I've ran into this problem before with Butel software. There is some kind of hiccup where a port is captured but not released.

Powering down the computer then doing a re-start cleared the issue for me.
