Last I heard, Late last year, they were to join MARCS. I did not know that any 800 MHz radios were already installed. Do you have info that they are ready to move to a 800 MHz system other than MARCS?

I work for West CHester township in Butlet County and I know West Chester operates on 800MHz. Fairfield is still on the 140s and I'm not sure about the city of Hamilton or Liberty Twp. But I believe that Butlet county PD is still on the 140s also. I'll have to look at my scanner and see how it's programmed to let you know. But West Chester has been 800MHz since the beginning-mid of last year I believe.

I will assume you mean the 150 MHz band.
The only 800 MHz system in Butler County is
West Chester Township. They went on line with
their system in 1991, not a year ago.

The 800 MHz Butler County is looking at is to join
up with the City of Oxford. Oxford has had five 800 MHz
frequencies licensed for several years now, but nothing has
been implemented yet. Oxford may be close to having the FCC
yank their license for these frequencies if they don't move to bring
a system online soon. Butler County is looking to join forces with them
to get the ball rolling on it.

More info for scanning Butler County and West Chester can be found
on my MONIXWeb page at: http://www.siscom.net/~mmeece/monix.html
