I haven't seen an official thread for Butte County...Is there one? If not, I was up there yesterday (Chico and South) and heard nothing on the new 700 System...Not even a Control Channel! Did the system get taken offline?!

Well Frank sorry your trip was a waste. But I can assure you that the BRICS is still working just fine. Today is April 16th and I can pick up BCSO from my Home is South Sacramento. Standing outside The system is working just fine. now yesterday the system was busy with the Sheriff's community day event they had. That was fun listening too it.

Frank it's fine you don't want to believe me. It's okay I was just saying in a nice way. You probably did everything wrong with programming your APXs to NAS the system properly then if it ain't working for you. I am at home and can hear the system just fine. So it's you. Out

I can get the system fairly well from Citrus Heights and Fair Oaks on my Unications but that's the only device that works that far away. Out of curiosity what are you using to pick it up from south Sacramento?

Fair Oaks/Citrus Heights is a good reception area from what I understand. He's using an APX.

7/800 MHZ High gain dipole antenna connected to an SDS 200. Pointed in direction of Butte county.
