Buying BDC325P2 Have Some ?'s

Looking at purchasing the bcd325p2 and have some questions. 1 Whats the best freeware to use to program the scanner? 2 how does this model perform in RF strong areas and in general on P1 and P2 systems? 3 Where do you go to pay for DMR and PV upgrade keys? any info would be great. thanks.

Freescan is the best freeware for the 325p2 but does not do DMR or Provoice.

It does well on phase 1 & 2 systems in high RF environments.

The upgrades are included in the firmware, but you buy an unlocking key for each serial numbered radio at my.uniden.com.

325P2 is on sale now, no telling how long its going to be on sale. Walmart a few days ago matched the price on it. If planning on getting it, best to get it now.
