Buzzing

Right now I'm using my old radioshack Pro-2052 and it has the external speaker port which I'm using for output.

I'd like to upgrade the scanner because I noticed the audio wasn't good, and also I'm streaming a military airport and the Pro-2052 doesn't do UHF air. I'd be upgrading to a sporty's JD-100, but when I plug it in, I get constant buzz.

All of my scanners do this without the external speaker jacks even if they are on battery power.

What can I buy to get rid of the hum?

Well from what I have read, Radio Shack has a Audio isolator for $16.99. I havent tried it yet, but will when I pick one up tomorrow. Now for me I am getting a static noise instead of a buzzing noise. I hope this will take care of the problem.
