I believe you are referencing the Edacs system and @doctordialtone linked to the P25 system.Not necessarily. All mode "A" (analog) talkgroups can be monitored just fine with the OP's scanner. Most talkgroups are mode "A" . Only mode "D" (Provoice clear) or "DE" (Provoice encrypted) can't be monitored

/FixedGimme your trusty red pen, Doc Although I can't be entirely to blame since only the EDACS is referenced on the main county page. Some housekeeping needs to be done if the EDACS is truly deprecated
It's not entirely deprecated. There are still some agencies that operate on it that have not moved to the P25 system, and Tampa FR and PD are still multicast to it as some officers/firefighters still carry around older radios.Some housekeeping needs to be done if the EDACS is truly deprecated
