I was out at Byron Dragway today for this weekend's "Glory Day" nostalgia racing event. Their normal 462.725 (CS) track frequency was silent. Close Call picked up the new frequency, 441.625 (d251)!!! No typo! Confirmed on two different radios. Maybe the new track owners got a new radio guy? Using GMRS was questionable enough, but the middle of the 70cm ham band? Okay then.

Also, the track PA is broadcast on 87.9 FM, and not 100.5 as listed in the database. Changes have been submitted.

I hate when teams and tracks do this. I find 430-449 being used by more and more asphalt teams. -;( After talking to some sanctions and tracks I see less and hope It stops. They have 450 to 470 more then enough spectrum to pick!
