C-17s & C-130s at McClellan

I was at the former McClellan AFB this past Saturday (12/1) for some other activity and noticed that there were seven C-17's on the ramp. My first thought was perhaps some sort of evacuation from Travis? But when I got closer, there were tail strips from McChord and Charleston SC (as well as a couple from Travis). There were also a half dozen or so C-130Js (but I couldn't get close enough to read tail stripes.


I tried Google, and came up short.


Anyone have any idea what is going on?

Hi B52 mike base144 here
there is some kind troop movement under
lots of comm on hf this weekend were the big tankers
parked on the ramp that base is great all kinds of birds on the ramp
i was their about 1 month ago
