C CRANE Skywave help please.

Hello Everyone,

Some how the other day i deleted the numbers on the screen of my C CRANE Skywave. I should have said the clock and frequency number. I was just wondering is there a way to restore the screen? I would very much appreciate the help.

If you can recall some of your moves prior to the screen going blank, it would help diagnose the problem.

A Reset might fix it. Page 14 and 15 of the Skywave manual describes the process. If you have a Skywave SSB, it's on pages 23 and 24.

Hello,

The best i can remember is that i hit 2 buttons by accident. For the users manual i Can not find it. I haven't seen it for a few years.

Factory reset:


With the power off, press and hold memory buttons #4 and #6 until the radio beeps four times, the display flashes and three final beeps are heard. .
