C Crane twin coil ferrite antenna cable connections

Hi all,
I've just received a pre-loved C Crane twin coil ferrite antenna, and it is missing the original cable that connects the ferrite loop to the tuning unit, and is being used with a computer style mini-DIN cable.

Is the original C Crane cable shielded in any way, and if so, what pin connection is the shield? Or perhaps a particular twisted pair configuration? I want to make my own cable and install it outdoors.

If memory serves, I thought I read, Chris Justice from RadioLabs, designed this Antenna while working for C. Crane. I bet he would know, if no one else chimes in. or C.Crane:
