Southwest 281 reporting cabin pressure problems requesting rapid decend. Boston AirCenter Freq 128.1! Went from@24K to 12K in less than 4 minutes!

You could hear the beep beep from the alarms when the pilot talks!

Southwest is already in hot water right now for not complying with mandatory airframe inspections for fatigue cracking. I hope, for all those involved, that this is not related.

I hope not!
The pilot went down to 10k feet. They fixed whatever problem it was for the moment because I heard them ask to go up to 12K to test the "fix" then they requested 15K and higher so I believe all was well after that. I read that same article. Unbelievable what they are getting away with. Downright criminal.
