This is the next in a series of changes proposed to the database for Cache County. (yada yada deleted)

#6 The 5 Tactical "Ops channels"
TG 28928 OPS 1
TG 28960 OPS 2
TG 28992 OPS 3
TG 29824 OPS 4
TG 29056 OPS 5
Are assigned by the Cache Comm center on an AD-HOC basis. There is no
need to have the LAW, FIRE, SAR etc designators, as they are not used that way in a regular basis...they are just assigned as needed for the instant need.
Recommend REMOVE the FIRE/LAW?/AR designators

Hearing no objections by Wed night we will recommend this addition.

I dont have time to locate the exact text, but it is the policy of UCAN that each county gets to set up their ops channels the way they want. Davis has specific assignments. Salt Lake County has ops 5 and ops 7 being used on a regular basis by specific agencies. the others are assigned as needed.
I scan all the SL County Ops TGs all the time and most of them are quiet.

Righ now, Cache is getting into the 800 MHz thing, and they probably chose the easiest route by assigning them as needed for now.
