Evidently they switched over yesterday evening as I have lost SPD, SFD and Caddo Parish Sheriffs.
Sorry to hear that, but have you tried entering the new system?

Thanks rattlerbb01. This info is quite the timesaver. Math...who knew?Guys, it looks like they followed the same setup that most analog to P25 cutovers have: divide the old talkgroup from the Moto system by 16 and voila: new talkgroup. That should help identify the radio traffic quickly, but before submitting to database, always verify what you are hearing.
Oh I reprogrammed and got everything back..............so far the divide by 16 seems to giving the correct talkgroups.Sorry to hear that, but have you tried entering the new system?
Jerry I just added Shreveport as a site and then all of the old Simulcast frequencies and am getting plenty of traffic. So since I can't hear anything in Webster parish, would it help to add all the frequencies instead of just the control channels? Are there completely tied to caddo or can I ad the bossier tower?
I guess the 700 system is not powerful enough to make it to Webster.Jerry I just added Shreveport as a site and then all of the old Simulcast frequencies and am getting plenty of traffic.
The Caddo system is standalone. You will not hear the Caddo parish agencies on the 700 MHz LWIN system.I guess the 700 system is not powerful enough to make it to Webster.
Well crap, I thought they went to LWIN. So this is their own system? The Caddo system is standalone. You will not hear the Caddo parish agencies on the 700 MHz LWIN system.
I should have known with the 800 mhz ..Yup. They upgraded and are a stand alone simulcast not part of LWIN.
Yay, glad to see the system is going well, nice work guys,, when I swing up that way in a few .months, I want to listen to it
If it’s simulcast it’s gonna be roughI live in Shreveport and have a Uniden Home Patrol II. I am new to this and need help getting signals again. Any help will be appreciated.
