I am staying here at Caesars and noticed a few differences regarding their radio frequencies. First off, the frequency listed in the DB for "Security" is definitely depricated. They are no longer using it. However, I am picking up "The Playground Pier" frequency in DMR mode. However, it still isn't clear to me if they are also using that same channel for Security in the casino. Also, did close call another Maintanence frequency in analog mode on 460.775 DCS152 (no license in the FCC db for it though). Also their engineering channel of 461.700 PL 82.5 still very active, but not hearing anything on their listed housekeeping frequency. Therefore it seems they kept some of their frequencies, but also switched a few. I will keep everyone posted and submit any confirmations to the DB.

I am heading down to Caesars next week (got some nice comps) and remember last time I was there, they were NOT using the frequency listed in the DB as their security frequency. Does anyone know the correct updated frequency they are using now?

If not, I did program every single channel licensed to them in both AC and Vegas into my scanner to see if I get a hit on any of them next week. I will post if I find it.

No, nothing at all. When I was there, I even tried monitoring 460 - 465 MHz range very often, and still couldn't find their new security frequency. The ONLY thing I can think of is perhaps they now share the same security frequency as Bally's since both casinos are connected? I even tried discretely close calling them while on a slot machine with scanner in record mode with volume turned down in the jacket pocket, but unfortunately all I got was a 40 min recording of an FM radio station it close-called. However, if they use DMR, not sure how well close call would even work. If anyone finds their new security frequency, please let me know. I stay there a few times per year and would love to have it.

Close call works no matter what the mode, it just sounds like gibberish or a trunking control channel if you just program a single channel. You'll hear noise!! Hope you did better on the slots than you did with your scanner.

I'm seeing an active license for Caesar's WPKZ342, looks to be 900mhz trunked. Might be worth checking for activity if you're ever down that way again. Another possibility: WPNV710 contains DMR emissions. Did you try programming the frequencies listed in the database under license WPYK793 without the reported tones to see if they moved to another voice mode?

Great find Whiskey! I was not aware of that 900 MHz license and it looks like it was only granted recently. The first 3 frequencies look like inputs to a three frequency TRUNKED system: 935.6375, 936.725, and 937.700. I will program them into my radio as individual digital frequencies without delay time and see if I pick up anything next time I go (which wont be until April probably at the earliest). If anyone beats me to it, please post anything you find. I did monitor those other conventional licenses you posted, but heard nothing.

Just a quick note, I notice for DMR TRUNKED systems, the BCD436 will NOT pick up much if you program them in as a DMR system. Best way to hear ALL radio traffic is to program each frequency in as a conventional frequency with emission set to Digital for each frequency with no delay. Of course you cannot single it out to monitor only certain talkgroups, but you wont miss much either.
