Ok so i was scrolling through the channels in my mobile and picked up what sounded like survalence traffic on cdf cmd 4 in san luis obispo they were using unit N\numbers such as "unit 1" and "ops" and tailing "s1". Any ideas on what this is? As far as i know cmd 4 is not used in slo county.

There was an annual drill of sorts yesterday in SLO county - maybe something to do with that?

Ok figured it out

Ok so after listening more i figured out that they were cal fire arson investigators fallowing a suspect. arround 10 tonight the suspect started starting small roadside fires and they finaly had a marked car make a stop. This did not sound like a drill but i asked a friend of mine who is a local police chief and he said he would look into it in the morning. Ill keep you posted.

It sounds a lot like one of the State Fire Marshal level 2 Fire Investigator classes.......

That is very possible, as when at Camp SLO and attending those fun HazMat classes, we often use the CDF frequencies.
