Yeah, but I'm programming a scanner to give my dad, and he's not very good with them. I know CDF SCU (my local unit) has assigned tacs & air tactics, just trying to see if MMU did too before I give it to him.During most incidents, your best bet is to just listen to the radio traffic. CDF is usually very good at announcing assigned tacs by both name and frequency when they are assigned to an incident.
It's an OLD one, Radio Shack PRO-28 with only 30 channels, and with the stuff I know there's only 8 left open.I don't know what scanner you're programming for him, but all of mine have 1000 channels in them. So why not just program ALL Cal Fire frequencies? That's what I've done so I am able to monitor no matter where I am in the state.
