On March 13th i witness a sign from the high-rise blow downon the streets
In Calgary CFD CPS and Calgary Emergency Management were onscene
The Calgary Emerg Manage Agency came red lights to the scene
In his white suburban I noticed he had a white molded type antenna
On the roof of the vehicle , do they have their own communications freqs
and if so does anyone know these freqs or do they use the same freqs
as CFD. Also would anyone have freqs for Alberta Emergency
Management Agency? Thxs.

Probably on the CDR system somewhere... & I bet that that mystery antenna was for a CAD system or Sat Link system.

463.5625 is for the Northeast Region CAER (Community Awareness Emergency Response) mutual aid partnership per the virtual license I have stored from Spectrum Direct; it's not part of AEMA at all.

NR CAER goes from Redwater to Fort Saskatchewan and from Legal to Bruderheim. The repeater is stationed at the Dow plant in Fort Saskatchewan.

Hmm, I wonder if the UHF Simplex frequencies are also related to NRCAER.

462.95 and 457.15 are part of a pair of transportable crossbanding repeaters according to the licensing (with 148.655 and 149.5 being the VHF side of said repeaters).

Just noticed in the BC database both of the UHF frequencies are listed in the PEP provincial agency section.

The VHF frequencies listed in Jay911 post are most commonly used by GSAR teams.

At one time Vernon SAR had a repeater output on 148.6550, and a portable repeater(still) output on 149.4950.

Some other BC PEP frequencies are:

148.685
149.525
150.350

Some correspond to what is used here in Alberta... As well as those two simplex frequencies.

Edit:

With out digging into IC website BS, it looks like AEMA is only licensed for:

148.655
149.500
457.150
462.950
