Hello Calgarians, I need some confirmation on some new Fire Dispatch talkgroups 62816 and 63072. If you know the description of these, I can add them to the database.

Yesterday I heard fire responding to the Skyview Ranch area NE quadrant of Calgary for a house fire using 62816. Did not pay a lot of attention to the stations responding but believe one was station 40 or 42 talking with fire dispatch. The audio sounded better and for a minute thought it might be on AFRRCs frequencies but then they mentioned Skyview. Unfortunately, since most police and EMS has gone encrypted, I really pay little attention to anything when scanning. But will pay a little bit more attention to these new talkgroups.

Can you help me migrate over to the new CFD Dispatch talk group? I can't seem to find the update on Sentinel DB. I may have to direct enter it on my Uniden 436HP

You will have to wait until next Monday's upload from Uniden. If you don't care to wait then take the extra steps and create a favourite list with CMRN which will allow you to add or delete talkgroups.

65488
62544

62528

Could 62848 be Training? I'll have to pay a bit more attention but I have been hearing a lot of Training and thought that it was on 62848 but would need to confirm.

It makes it harder for me to ID the talkgroups because I can not record the voice and play back later.
I just have the software to see that there are new talkgroups in the system.

62544 sounds like a CFD TAC. Heard 1 incident with Aerial 19 and Engine 15. Possible it could have been training though.

Edit:
Nevermind, I see they're in the database now.

Just logged "Red 3" doing radio checks with CFD dispatch on P25 group 64016. Sounds like Pro-Tec fire/YYC emergency services. Could this be the "new" A6?
