Calgary Public Works EDACS System

Over the last few days I've noticed this system (Calgary Public Works EDACS) has become quite dead, but I'm not sure if its just because I'm monitoring it in the evenings (only time I get these days) or if their making a transition over to a new system. I'll share my findings if I get a chance to, but if anyone else has some info to share about this I'd like to hear about it also.

A number of city services have apparently migrated to the MiKE system that Transit started using a couple years back. Animal Services is for sure among them, the others I don't know.

I'll throw T4Win on a machine here for a few days and see what kind of hits I get. The last time I checked, Parking Control/Bylaw and Roads Maintenance/Wastewater & Waterworks were the three or four major users of the system - that was a month or two ago.

I wouldn't be surprised if the city was trying to phase the EDACS system out. It was old and tired 10 years ago...

On the drive in to work this morning, I heard Signals Maintenance and Waterworks still doing some stuff on the system. I have a laptop monitoring the system with T4Win all day; we'll see what comes of it.
