call in Surfside Beach at BLockbuster

Anyone been in Surfside Beach today on 17 business and know what is going on at Blockbuster all I heard was smoke and strange smell coming from store. Ocn did you go to that call ? Im sure we will read about it in the Sun News or on the news tonight anyone liten to it at all

SB call

Yes I was there and it was a haz-mat call. Block buster smelt an odor and called in, it was discovered after eng-1 and f-1 got there that it was coming from the unit next door.

They did concrete finishings and had probably 75-150 5 gal containers of different chemicals in the back room. One of the containers was leaking.

I was on the haz-mat team that went in and contained the leak, if you were listening to the scanner I was on the radio giving command our moves inside.
