The Golden Gate Division / Golden Gate Communications Center 42.60000 — Turquoise - Base - Solano (22) calls feed does not autoplay when viewing archives. All other calls feed archives are working, so I don't believe it to be a browser issue.

A second issue with this same Calls: I can't find it on the new Squawster app.

A Side Note: Could "CHP" be added to this feed's title to help others finding it.

Few things here:

1. We pushed a client fix for this - should play fine now in the browser
2. It's a ProScan Vox MP3 problem that is causing the issue. Although we can address at the client, the root cause is a problem with the MP3 encode by Bob's proscan client. I've opened a ticket with him to have him address it.
3. It's not showing up in squawster because we don't surface state agencies groups - that's a bug, I'm working on a fix for that.

It's now auto playing!
Thank you for the fast turnaround on this! I'm always impressed how fast you respond and get to the bottom of issues!
I'm also really digging the work going into Squawster & Radiant Glow!

I'm looking into this now and can confirm there is an issue with the VOX Recorder.
Running ffmpeg -i [file] returns the following error:
Format mp3 detected only with low score of 25, misdetection possible! Skipping 33 bytes of junk at 285.

I will work on a fix and let you know as soon as a new file is ready for testing.

This issue has been fixed. Once the fix is confirmed, I will update GitHub.

Version 1.2 - 10/04/26
  • Fixed a Broadcastify Calls Playback Issue where the browser was stopping approximately 0.3 seconds before the end of a clip and reporting an error instead of indicating that playback had ended. Added a Mp3FrameDetector function to accurately detect the first and last MP3 frames.
