Does Calvert still use this frequency ? the license still shows active. I have programmed it in my radio and located in Deale MD. The other day all I had was an occasional open squelch carrier. I hve not heard any audio since being programmed. As of today 7/28 nothing can be heard.

It is a newer license for them. They are supposed to be switching to that frequency for paging and station alerting with the implementation of their new radio system. This is supposed to replace the current low band paging and station alerting system in place with the current system. This frequency may not be operational yet.

I have a friend that is a dispatcher there and she said that they are testing out their new system.
Lol, the system has been on the air for over a year, testing... Should be up soon as all the new tower sites have now been completed. They weren't kidding when they petitioned the FCC for "slow-growth."
