Cambridge FD CH #16 ???

The Metrofire web site shows Cambridge Fire Ch 16 as 854.9625 and shows that Massport Fire is the same freq with a different DPL... Gary Saffer's site shows Cambridge Fire Ch 16 as 854.4875. Any info would be helpful. THANKS to all, and enjoy the week-end!

854.4875 D-125 is Cambridge Fireground Ch.16. Cambridge FD operates primarily on an 800MHz TRS. Control channel is 857.7875.

I have had 854.9625 in my scan list for many years, has anyone verified this freq?

Back around 1989, Massport FD did have 854.9625R in use as a secondary channel. IIRC, you would hear administrative and training type traffic on that repeater. I think they abandoned that channel maybe 5 years - possibly when they upgraded their trunked system.
