Hi Folks!!

Just moved from the C-K area to here in Cambridge. Just wondering if anyone would like to share any freq's for aircraft or anything that is "worth" listening too. I am in a highrise (12 floors) and have a antenna mounted on the roof, with LMR coax and all that nice stuff, I do have a BC996XT and a BC898T, so I can do both digital and analog. I have alrdy put in the local edacs system, and kitchener /waterloo airport, just wondering if anything else is good around here or that anyone would like to share

Thanks

Welcome, I live and love Waterloo Region :)

There's quite a bit that I still learn about hometown by listening to WRPS on either scanner on the road or the online feed at home.

Grand River Transit has some interesting calls incl. their security channels.

Bingeman Park has interesting stuff on weekends especially during Oktobertheft .

Either way have fun :D

Welcome to Waterloo Region.

You might also like to listen to Fleetnet Zone 1. It has OPP which patrol parts of Waterloo Region and highway 401.

EMS (Cambridge CACC) is worth listening to and is also on Fleetnet Zone 1.

Metrolinx - GO Transit is another if you want to listen to the GO buses and trains in this area.

Good luck.

You might be able to get the Brantford Fleetnet site as well as Stratford or Listowel along with Ballinafad.

Just a stretch but maybe also Hamilton Charlton St tower, it has good coverage IMO to the north towards Cambridge.

Since you are right on the border between the Cambridge CACC and Hamilton you might want to listen to the MOH Zone1 34976 and 35008 MOH Zone 2 talkgroups for call shares.

You are in a good location to hear Ornge helis. 150.1 is what they use to talk to CACC's and put in their frequency of 413.6875.

Sadly. Ornge are active in your area.
