Does anyone know if the city of Camden's Fire Dept. uses trunking (like city police) or are they still using conventional?

Hello,
They are still conventional at this time.
I did just see an FCC filing for Camden City so that might be changing.

They are still on VHF. Those fillings probably have to do with them adding a frequency because they will be combining their system with the new DRPA system.

Confused

1.If Camden's Fire dept is on VHF now, I don't see the frequencies in the previous postings.

2. Audiowave: It looks like you listed two zones. What in the world are those numbers? 370' and FB230e? Are they talkgroup I.D.'s?
Please explain.

Hello,
Those #'s are the tech details of the transmitters.

It is a 2 site system. (like many city radio systems)

Antenna height expressed in feet (370')

FB2 means it's a repeater

30e means it's output power is 30w including antenna gain.

It's FCC license speak.
