Camden Co to proceed with new system

I just saw in today''s paper that camden co. plans to roll out a new 700 mhz radio system within the next 2 years .Per, the article the new system is to cover police within the county.

Apparently this has been in the planning stages for some time.

Maybe is the best answer right now. they may go with a TDMA format system which no current scanner decodes.

It's probably easier to get temporary allocations on 800MHz, and most P25-capable radios for 700MHz are actually 700/800MHz capable by default (XTS2500, XTS5000, APX6500, APX7000 - just to name a few from /\/\)
