Don, that could be. I knew a lady in Ohio who had had her license revoked. She was stopped one day driving with her sisters ID. She managed to get out of serious problem as they were close enough in appearance. But the cop was sure suspicious (I know, I heard it parts of it on the scanner). Now I don't know how the sister reacted to the ticket.

Yes, it's because of soundex-ing and cross searches of the aliases that the bg's use.

Having the system cross-reference to a soundex code and then search by that would be pretty easy to do.
