Anyone know what are the best sites to use for north county Fallbrook area to receive the USMC trunking system?
Looking for the primary site or sites that would reliably carry all/most traffic, and avoid having the scanner lock onto a site that has no affiliations or traffic due to site location.

The place has so many holes because of topo.
Downtown FB is a hole for most stuff except Red Mt and Palomar(hi) . TheMarines don't have Red or Palo so I use all the sites that I get a semi-ok lock.
You of all people Paul, should know this.
Drive it!
Take 76 from O'side to Mission Rd.....run the data ch's.....up Mission to Main St...Main North to East Mission out to I-15.
Now take 15 North to Murietta and work back to FB via Deluz and Deluz rd....
You should be able to folo the hand-offs without affiliation.
That should give you a really good idea of the contours. Don't forget to include Woodson for that tricky southeast fallbrook (gird-live oak area). You will also learn some good high sites where you can see on base, in case you get a decent breaker that you can't get on post for.
