CAMSPAC down for maintenance

Sounds like CAMSPAC station is offline for maintenance, possibly up to 2 weeks according to some traffic monitored. CAMSLANT has been taking guard for the west coast HC-130s on the COTHEN.

CAMSPAC is not a specific station - it's a network, just like CAMSLANT is used... (i.e. CAMSLANT Boston, CAMSLANT New Orleans, etc.). It's hard to know which specific station is being shut down for so long...Mike

CAMSPAC is back online, although it sounds like they may be going offline again next month. I know there have been rumors of everything being consolidated into a single communications command station in the future, so perhaps this is the start of it.

Probably a poor title. The station didn't close, just remoted. Small detachment left in Novato for maintenance.
