Hey,
Once again another question :p
Can it be plugged in to my scanner?
All I see in the back is a "tape out" and "SPKR"
A DC cable came with it, it plugs into the back and has red and black cable. The red cable has a fuse attached to it. I think its for the car, I'm not very sure...

Thanks for being so supportive,
Steven

Why would you want to plug a microphone into a scanner? It only receives, it isn't supposed to transmit.

Yes. Just go to RadioShack and get their scanner microphone over with the cb stuff. I takes a 9volt battery but ask for a free battery card too.

you can plug one in but it will act as a speaker......Ive done almost the same thing on a computer...used a set of headphones as a mic.

Bottom line, scanners can't transmit so there's no point in trying to plug a microphone in.

Thread locked before we get anymore wise guy answers.
