CAN A MUNICIPAL RADIO SYSTEM WARRANTY BE EXTENDED ????????

Can a police or fire system reaching the end of it's warranty period be extended in the event a lack of funds prevent the purchasing of a new system???

Would guess that this does occur from time to time given the current budget problems in many communities.

they would sign a maintenance agreement, providing the equipment is still supporte by the manufacturer.
