Can an LTR talkgroup ID be duplicated across home channels?

This is fairly academic, but I found myself wondering about it and can't find an answer...

In an LTR system, you have the 'area code', a 0 or 1, out front. Then the home repeater number, and then the talkgroup number, eg., 0-01-001.

Is the home number part of the talkgroup, or just a parameter of the talkgroup? In other words, is it valid to have 0-01-001 and 0-02-001 as different talkgroups, starting on different home channels? Or must they be unique regardless of the home channel?

The home channel is effectively part of the talkgroup number. The same group suffixes can be used on every home channel by different users. The full TGID goes with the units from repeater to repeater.

Thanks! I hadn't encountered it in the wild, but got to wondering when I saw TGs split across home channels.
