Using the photo attached, can anyone tell me what System this radio would be using. This was shot in the Market area in Ottawa.

That's a Commissionaire. They do security at federal buildings.

Oh wait the radio. XPR7550e, DMR/TRBO. As for what system? Something UHF and Connect Plus.

Confirmed its a XPR7550e (the white ring on the PTT gives the 'e' away). The unit shown is a UHF. There is no way of knowing if the unit is set for conventional, TRBO/DMR or Connect + without knowing the system its on. Fortunaly RR has the info for the systems :).

More info the radio is not using encryption because the encryption key is not displayed on the LCD. The Uniform is for the Corps of Commisionairs who do security for non critical government facilities.

The display shows an option board enabled icon and 8485? so it's possible that the radio is on a Con+ network. Other than Con+ using the option board is ManDown firmware software
