Can I use Sentinel to program a BCD996P2 scanner ?

Hello Yeah I know Dumb question and I have not tried this, Need to if anyone has or would know if it can be done without
damaging the scanner the scanner is a BCD996P2, turning into a Cinder block ! Also WHAT is a OP? i see that alot on the forums another dumb question I'm full of them
