Can PRO-96 decode digital during service search?

Just curious to know.. If the pro-96 stops on a digital frequency during service search... Is it advanced enough to automaticaly decode it, or will you just hear a bunch of noise.

Pro96 always decodes APCO25 transmissions by itself.

As long as the mode is set to "FM" it will automatically switch to and decode P25 digital.

If it is in "CT" or "DC" mode you will hear the data "noise" and it will not decode.

This is true in any search mode with the PRO-96/2096.

Go figure.. I often travel through CT. Why wont it decode CT or DC digital automaticaly? Is it a firmware issue?

CT and DC are reception modes, not the state / district.
