Can Someone Explain me This (Pro-82)?

I just vist the Radio Shack's page on the Pro-82 and it says my scanner, the pro-82, covers
also 23-30 Mghz, and that its PC programmable. WTF?

Well the OSC may go down to 23 mHz but all thats in the range 23-30 that you could hear is CB at 27 mHz and Ham at 29 mHz and that would be with an antenna no less than 8' for 1/4 wave. There are some marine freqs in the 25 mHz range but you would have to live next door the the station to hear it with a rubber duck. Detail overkill. Besids, the 82 is a toy scanner anyway.

Connecting.

about connecting the scanner to a computer, what cables beside the serial # 20-048 which appears in the manual will work? I tried to find that cable but couldn't, not even in Radio Shack's website.

The pc cable fits in the same place an the headphones believe it or not.. I have had one of them for a ffew years and just found that out myself... Good luck
