Can someone help me identify this old handheld?

I found these in a closet at my Grandparents house. My dad says they used them during hunting season in the late 60's-early 70's (date range was an approximate). I put in new batteries but neither would fire up, the Truetone 12 transistor (radio on left) had some corrosion on the battery holder but the Truetone Ten was pretty clean. I did some searching and found nothing useful. If the model # in the picture is hard to read, its "DC4412". How easy is it to get old radio's like these operating? Or would I even want to?

These are either Sears or Western Auto, and made my Midland International when they were located on North Topping Rd In Kansas City Mo around the 1960 I had soem when I was kid thanks Bush

They look like old 27 MHz. CB portable radios made by Midland in the mid 1960's. I had a similar looking radio that was black instead of grey.

They might be collectors items especially if the work.
