Can Someone Help Me?

Hello, im new to this and i have a Uniden Trunk Tracker IV i mainly want to listen to 23 division which is right by my house but when i tune in i get nothing?! I get 31 and 22 and all that but 23 doesnt come in at all? If Someone can help me with this i would really appreciate it

Hi Frank.
Which scanner are you using?

Just to let you know TPS has patches or multi-selects with many talkgroups i.e. 22Division & 23 are always on the same TG. 31 is one of the few not patched with another.
Sometimes the patches shows 22D t/g, sometimes 23. Enter all the listed talkgroups in that you want to listen to.

Also: Which tower are you monitoring?
You can hear 22/23 for sure off the west tower and probably the south tower IIRC.

And finally, what is your status bit setting? It should be set to off.

I work very close to 23D and never have any problems listening into the 'action.'

im using a Uniden BCD-396T i will try on TPS West Tower i was scanning on the North tower, so are you saying i should listen into 22 and not 23?

EJB is correct. 22 & 23 are patched together, usually on the 22 division TGID. 32 & 33 are patched, 11 & 12 also. The downtown divisions (51, 52, 53, 54, 55) are also patched, but I forget who's with who. The give away is the first two numbers - unit 2201 is of 22 div and 2301 is of 23, the same thing for the other patched TGIDs. I'm in 31 div...no patches here, there's enough going on to keep the dispatcher very busy.

yea that is what im using, and i tried switch to the west tower on 22D and i was getting 23D so thanks for that inf. Im also having another problem, and that is with my Uniden BC246T i havnt used it in a while but the ther day whne i grabbed it and tried to scan it just says "Nothing to Scan" i tried reloading the latest firmware on it but still same thing. If anyone knows how to fix this please help me out.
