Greetings all,

HUSAR task forces are in Calgary this weekend doing training exercises at the Calgary Fire Department training academy as part of a national exercise. One of the ones I heard early Saturday morning from work was CAN-TF4. I know TF1 is Vancouver and TF2 is Calgary, and I've heard rumors that TF4 is Toronto, but not sure. Does anyone have the definite identification of TF3 thru TF6?

Also - I heard TF4 on Alberta's "Provincial Ambulance" channel, 158.76. I talked to my EMS counterpart who also heard it and said that he had no beforehand knowledge of 'Provincial' being used for that purpose. We were only really hearing half the conversation (on professional radio consoles - not scanners), so I'm wondering if this is the input for a repeater that TF4's cache included. I've checked both the RRDB and TAFL with no hits. Anyone got any input (pun unintended)? :)

Toronto's Team is CAN-TF3, there is a report on a recent training exercise at >http://www.toronto.ca/wes/techservices/oem/husar/members/09-2005_pir_report_can-tf3_whitby.pdf<
I've only ever seen them on exercise within the City and they used the PSS trunked system. The report says that on deployment they use their 800Mhz Motorola MTS2000 portables on the I-Call/I-TAC frequencies.
