Can the 536HP be set to always record from power on? and 1 FTO question.

I know there is 5-250 second look back recording that takes place automatially, but I'd like to know if you can set the scanner to do the full recording option and now have to manually do the FNC-REPLAY button. Not the end of the world if it doesn't but would be a nice feature if it did.

Also,

Can the scanner be set to always go to FTO mode on power on? This one is a little more esoteric as why would anyone want their fancy scanner just to be a FTO, but it's actually something I wouldn't mind having. Is this possible?

If you turn the scanner off when it is in FTO mode it will still be in that mode when you turn it back on.

Excellent. Good to know. Basically gives me what I want for FTO.

Only if you shut it down with the Power connected the first time. Then restart it, otherwise it will loose it.
At least it worked this way with the T and XT. I have not done it with the 436.
