Can we see details about changes/change history?

Is there a way to see detailed information about what was changed or deleted when that change doesn't trigger the green cell fill color? The change history will show a frequency or category updated or deleted, without a way to see what was changed or deleted. The below sample is from California's CalFire change history. CalFire switches things up pretty often. :) Thank you!

As a premium member, you can periodically download the csv data files for the department. Then use a utility such as tkdiff to compare 2 versions of the files to identify updates.

Some suggest using the RRDB Differences function in ProScan to detect and identify changes.

Was hoping for something a bit more 'real time' than having to maintain my own offline files. I will try that though and see if it meets my needs. Thanks.

I know - it's not ideal. But, at least it is a method that can help you identify changes made to the database.

This was recently discussed here:

Any changes are immediately marked in green in the database and then changed to yellow for I believe seven days. If you need "real time" then it would require monitoring the database each day since they do not offer email alerts for updates/changes.

There are a few rare instances where a database change won't show in green if the Admin marks the change to be "suppressed from the database".

I only use that for trivial things like fixing typos where I don't want everyone to get excited seeing green only for there not to be a discernable change.

I seem to only see green for new additions to the database or renaming of existing trunked system site names. Those are not really an issue.

I don't see any colors for updates to existing frequency info like name, PL/NAC etc or subcategories (and there's no indication for deleted frequencies :) )

It would be great if we could get an audit log with a before and after of 'updates' and 'deletions' - even at the state level (let us figure it out from there if we must).

What you're asking for would require major changes to the back end of the database, which are simply not feasible.... as noted in this earlier thread:

As one of the admins noted above, we frequently use the "suppress timestamp" option when the changes in question are minor, such as spelling changes/fixes or what have you.
