Hi, I just set up 3 network cameras.I am able to view them on the L.A.N. without any problems, Does anyone know how i can view them remote from my laptop outside my network? I have a dynamic ip with a dsl modem/ router. Do I need a dns account? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks Tim... ps I have port forwarded the router for the ports im using..

You will need a free DNS to redirect. I prefer to use No-ip.com they have a small application that runs on a computer on your network and continually updates your IP to them, thats how i handle accessing stuff on my network from anywhere.

Your other choice would be a static IP if your ISP can provide one.
