Is there a dept. "like the FCC in america" in Canada that is over the uses of the freqs? If so what is it called?

The official one (that one that will have the most current data) is the one ecps92 posted called "Industry Canada Frequency Finder". Any other link you are sent, including the one with Google Maps, and any link that has "jrmy" or "darkwing" in the URL, is a good effort, but is done by a civilian like you or me, who is downloading the text version of the database and doing his own searches/queries on it. The text version doesn't have all the data the official version does.

And none of them (even the official version) go into as much detail as the FCC lookup site does, sadly.
