In preparation for the Nova Scotia International Airshow next weekend does anyone have a list of frequencies to monitor? I haven't attended the airshow for a few years and I'm a bit out of touch. I haven't heard whether the Snowbirds are attending or not but their frequencies would be apprecaited as well. Thanks
Al

The Snowbirds are back in flight, and their regular frequency is 272.1.. other than that, try the regular frequencies for that airport.

Thanks Jay -
Do the Snowbirds most generally stick to this one primary frequency?
Al

Every time I've seen them at a show, they've been using the freq. The only other freq used is some kind of Unicom (i.e. unallocated) air freq or one allocated to the airport where the show is taking place, to co-ordinate between the other airshow traffic and any active traffic that still is using the airport.

The nice thing about the S-Birds is they'll use 272.1 for all the planes, formation and Solos, so there isn't a need to scan two or more frequencies. Unlike, the Thunderbirds or Blues where they use different freqs for each element.
