Notice To All Canadian Feed Providers:

Even if it is legal in the US to do so, in Canada, as per The radiocommunications act of Canada article 9 (1) and (2) , it is illegal to rebroadcast over the Internet, or any other way in fact, a radiocommunication intercepted and/or decoded through a scanner or any other devices ...

For you to decide .... but you should also know that the feds (RCMP) are sensitive about that ...

Even if it was not made public, I was aware of a recent case In Quebec where Industry Canada stopped someone broadcasting a police department radiocommunication over the Internet.... Don't know if he was charged of something or not.

Here's the link for article 9. Radiocommunication Act

There is nothing illegal about identyfing the frequencies but broadcasting them.. thats a different story.

Provide us with the proof please of the feed getting shut down.

Sorry dude, but I've had my feed online for 5+ years now, and not once have I ever been asked about it.

Are you not one of the ones that was actually listening to the feeds, I believe you even pm'd me about the audio on mine.

So what's your story?

I don't have any proof, that was posted in an earlier thread of mine, so I thought i'd just put it out there so other people know. Great to see you had your feed up that long. Mine was up for about 1 year now. :p

Another option is to get permission from the agency that you would like to broadcast. We did this with the agencies that we provide and have gotten some very good support from the departments involved.
