I just bought a Radio Shack Pro-18 and received it Thursday and this weekend I am in Sauga but how does one scan local channels here. The only thing I can seem to get to work here is scanning Airport freq. and getting some talk, can't seem to get anything else but air traffic. It's right out of the box and only updated but its all USA stuff.

It looks like one of the newer model scanners that have a database in it for you to figure out.

Best to ask this maybe in the Radio Shack forum if no one here can answer it, I never heard of this scanner>

I actually have a new micro card I bought some time ago, what I plan on doing is sending the configuration settings from the RS software then sending the libraries from Gre's software.

Ok so that theory didnt work. I used the RS iScan to config the new 16Gb micro card, then closed the software and opened up Gre EZ SCan 1.05, updated the libraries, assigned the CDN channels to the scanlists and then copied over to the Pro-18.

When I fired it up it was as if it was still factory with the iScan library, so that didn't work as planned.
