Cancelled Frequency Listing - How To Find Updates

I go to the following page: Callsigns for FCC FRN: 0002730612 (BENZIE, COUNTY OF) and click on a call sign. That takes me to the following page:
FCC Callsign KNAK455 (BENZIE COUNTY TRANSIT) . There it lists the details for the call sign and in the Status box it shows:
" CANCELED 01/27/2006". I know this bus is still operating in the area. How do I find the updated information for this licensee?

If the licensee cancelled their license, maybe they are purchasing airtime from someone and not supporting their own infrastructure? This would put them on someone elses system, and not show up in the FCC DB at all.

This question would probably best be moved to the Michigan forums where someone local can shed some light on a 15 year old cancelled license.

that FRN only has 5 PW/GE licenses active for the it, the IG (for the busses) is cancelled, and 2 other PWs expired.

It looks like the county got out of the (bus) communication business in mid 2006.
