Cannot do Win11 image save (???)

I am trying to save an .ISO image of my Windows 11 installation. I have Win11 installed on a 230GB SSD inside my HP EliteDesk mini pc. The target drive I want to save the .ISO to is a 2TB standard HD. The problem is I am getting a pop up after I start the image save, saying I dont have enough room on target drive. This makes no sense cause there is at least 350GB FREE on my external drive where I want to save the image!!!!! I have MORE than enough space!!!! Maybe this picture I attached of the pop up message can shed some light......

Did you use disk tools to create a partion and format it to NTFS?

Did you use disk tools to create a partion and format it to NTFS?

I ended up using Macrium and was able to make an image of my Win 11 installation.
