PSREdit: Cannot Upload to Radio- Whistler 1040

Hello

I can no longer upload to my Whistler 1040. I have confirmed I have the latest software version andUSB driver. When attempting to upload I get the following error: Send Initialize Timeout! Please make sure USB cable is connected and try again. I have tried both the direct and com port methods. Any ideas to remedy?

Hello, welcome to Radio Reference!

Make sure you are plugging the USB cable into the PC/IF jack on the right side of the scanner rather than the earphone jack on the top.
